Holistic Nutrition Tip of the Day Just for Shelly

My sister's husband has been on this crazy curry kick for about a month.  It's gotten so bad that the family has begun speaking with Indian accents..ok, I just made that up, but they are beginning to think they are living there.  Anyway, while they are walking around wearing gas masks 3x a week, what they don't realize is he is actually doing his body good.  Curry is a mix of spices, one of them being Tumeric which gives it that yellow color and is in part responsible for some of the health benefits. Here they are:


Curry helps in reducing inflammation of the joints and research has shown that it even helps to prevent swelling of joints in rats that have arthritis.  Other studies suggest that this powerful spice may also protect against cancer, heart disease and even Alzheimer's disease.
